In 1916 she arrives in Paris where she discovers cubism in Paris and meets André Lhote and the russian sculptor Archipenko. Living with Archipenko in Nice in 1917, she joins the group of "La Section d'Or" ( with Léger, Braque, Gleizes, Brancusi, Villon, Kupka, Archipenko..). Theo Van Doesburg writes several articles about her work in the revue "De Stijl". In 1920 Herwarth Walden invites Donas to exhibit her works in his famous gallery "Der Sturm" in Berlin. Five of these works are acquired by american artist Katherine Dreier, who created with the help of Marcel Duchamp and Man Ray the famous collection "Société Anonyme". Part of this collection was later donated to the Yale University Art Gallery. This collection has recently been shown in several american museums ( Los Angeles, Washington, Dallas..).
